Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Online client and service provider activity based on your interaction with us and our websites and Office 365.

We do not collect any special categories of data unless specifically instructed by the client. Where possible we will endeavour to use anonymised data for sample testing and to provide our support services.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE HOLD

We collect this data in a transparent way and only with the full knowledge of interested parties.  Once this information is available to Datatrails, the following rules apply.  Our data will be:

  • Accurate and kept up-to-date
  • Collected fairly and for lawful purposes only
  • Processed by Hibernian Funerals on the basis of either a valid contract, consent, legal compliance or legitimate interest
  • Protected against any unauthorised access or illegal processing by internal or external parties.

All services where your details are being requested by Hibernain Funerals are processed through our secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

Hibernain Funerals reserves the right to co-operate with local, national or international law enforcement authorities in the investigation of improper or unlawful activities.
