The Law Society of Ireland is the educational, representative and regulatory body of the solicitors’ profession in Ireland, governed by a Council, comprising elected and nominated members of the solicitors’ profession. The Director General is the Chief Executive of the Law Society with all of the powers and responsibilities usually vested in a Chief Executive.
