Non-contributory pension

WIDOW’S, WIDOWER’S OR SURVIVING CIVIL PARTNER’S (NON-contributory) PENSION

To qualify, you must:

be a widow, widower, or surviving civil partner not be cohabiting with another person pass a means test & be habitually resident in the State.

If you were wholly or mainly dependent on your child for financial support, you may be entitled to a Dependent Parent’s Pension, if they die of a work-related illness or while receiving Disability Pension.
