Credit Union Death Benefit scheme

Any qualified member of a Credit Union is entitled to receive payment from the Death Benefit scheme. The minimum benefit offered is €1,300 in the Republic of Ireland. Further details may be obtained from your local Credit Union on the qualifying conditions. This scheme is operated by the majority of credit untions.
